Self adhesive lead rolls are available in various sizes for shielding small areas.
The lead sheet is completely coated with a protective tin layer to prevent contact with the lead during installation.
Applications:
Shielding of walls and small rooms such as dental or veterinary practices. Particularly useful for shielding to floors. The lead can be overlaid with normal floor coverings. Useful for shielding service penetration holes, and behind electrical sockets. Can be utilised in the construction of shielded cabinets or small engineered components. Soundproofing to new and existing structures and components.
Advantages:
Quick installation due to strong self adhesive coating. Can be applied to most dry flat surfaces. Tin coating avoids contact with lead. Can be over boarded in plasterboard to produce a normal paintable wall surface. Can be overlapped so no need to buy lead fillets. Very little waste.
