Second earthquake hits Envirotect premises

Whilst staff were tucked up in bed fast asleep a second earthquake in a space of a week hit Leighton Buzzard, according to the British Geological Survey.

The tremor in Bedfordshire which hit at 00:20 on Monday, was measured at magnitude 2.1.

It is thought to have been an aftershock tremor from the 3.5 magnitude quake which was felt the previous week.

One report describes “It felt slower and less intense than the previous tremor.”
