A day on the green with friends and colleagues …and all for a good cause!

It was the first time Niven Smith and Steve Rumble of Envirotect Limited had attended the Rad Magazine Foundation Golf Day charity event.  Although non golfers, they found it to be an enjoyable day and it was even more rewarding to know that whilst having fun they were also supporting a good cause.

The day started with coffee, tea and a bacon roll with some of the experienced golfers knowing that calories would be worked off throughout the day.

The true golfers were led to an 18 hole course with the non-golfers starting their day of lessons in pitch and putt.  It was then onto the driving range for further practice prior to being split into groups or pairs to play on the 9 hole pitch and putt course.

It was a good opportunity to meet with the other participants and a lot of banter was had by all with a fair amount of time being spent retrieving balls from the rough!

The day ended with a delightful dinner, followed by a raffle draw, silent auction awards and most importantly the golf awards.
